MAXIMA Team Driver Paphon Chanyasak from Thailand, win the Champion and overall TQ in 2017 Vietnam 1/8th off-road Nitro Buggy International Championship; Stanley Wangsanegara from Indonesia in 2nd and The Vietnam home team driver Phan Quang Thinh in 3rd position!

The LA Track grooved up really good for the finals with excellent weather. Spectators were treated to an excellent display of skills and high speed off-road racing from many of the best drivers around Asia. The track owner Ngua Vinh and his brother who has only been in buggy racing for 5 years qualified into the A Mains and his brother did Vietnam proud by finishing on the podium! It was a touching moment to see their mother run up to the podium to give her son a big hug
